Apple Crumble Recipe

This apple crumble recipe is a winner in many countries. There are only a handful of recipes that perform the same in different countries and this apple crumble recipe is one of them. When people search for apple crumble recipe uk, or apple crumbles recipe, or even apple pie recipe, it performs equally well in the UK, New Zealand, US, Germany, and South Africa.

In essence, apple crumble is a dessert that can be prepared in a sweet and savory version. This apple crumble recipe makes use of ingredients to focus on the sweet variety, but a great balance of sweet, not too sweet, just right.

I first learned about apple crumble from my great grandfather. He was a brave man who became involved in two world wars but shared many stories about the second world war. It was during his time in the second world war that he first encountered an apple crumble. He told me that due to the rationing of ingredients for pastry, the crumble was made as an alternative to the pastry. That is where the name apple crumble came from, and not apple pie, as they used to prepare it.

So, naturally, my grandmother found an original apple crumble recipe through my grandfather and shared it with me. We still use the same recipe to this day and I am happy to share and publish this apple crumble recipe on our website.

I am sure you will enjoy this easy apple crumble recipe as much as we do. Please '#shareyourthoughts'>tell us what you think of this recipe. You can also take a snapshot and tag us on Instagram @cookingcatdotcom.
