Apple Sauce Recipe

This quick and easy apple sauce recipe is the ideal roast pork companion. We love a basic roast pork recipe. Nothing fancy, only a handful of ingredients. The secret to the great taste of the recipe lies in this apple sauce.

We use cooking apples in our apple sauce recipe. A cooking apple, or culinary apple, is an apple that is used primarily for cooking, as opposed to dessert apples, which are eaten raw or used in desserts. Cooking apples are generally larger in size and have a sharp, acidy taste, as opposed to sweeter dessert apples.

Here is a list of the best apples for cooking and baking.

A food processor or blender makes it easier to purée the apple sauce. If you do not have a food processor or blender, then you can purée the apples, by rinning them through a coarse sieve.

We hope you enjoy this apple sauce recipe. if you do, please tell us what you think.

Thanks and happy cooking.
