This quick, and easy chicken livers recipe is one of my husband's favourite Saturday morning snacks. He always enjoys the chicken livers before slaving away in the garden on a Saturday afternoon. He believes the chicken livers gives him the strength he needs for the hard manual labour that is needed to clean a garden.

Directions

  1. Melt the butter over high heat in a hot saucepan. Add the chicken livers and fry until golden brown all over
  2. Add the peri-peri sauce and garlic and fry for two minutes, then add the lemon juice and the cream, season with the salt and pepper and fry for another five minutes
  3. Remove from the heat and serve straight away on toats, or mashed potatoes. Season with the parsley.
