The name itself makes my mouth water and the finished golden brown schnitzels look amazing when served with side dishes and garnished with lemons and soaked in a delicious green peppercorn sauce.
Schnitzel is originally a famous and popular Viennese dish. ostrich fillets, prepared in breadcrumbs and fried to golden brown deliciousness in a pan. Do not be put off by the name, the dish is surprisingly easy to prepare and only takes a few minutes.
