This easy semolina bread recipe is my favourite bread baking recipe. Semolina is a coarse flour made from finely ground durum wheat. It is also called pasta flour because it is perfect for making pasta as well as crispy pizza bases. If you have to weigh up the health benefits between semolina bread and normal white bread, then semolina comes up as the clear winner.
Semolina flour is rich in protein, fibre, and B vitamins and may support weight loss, heart health, and digestion. This ancient grain is packed with more vitamins, minerals, protein, healthy fats and fibre than popular grains such as whole wheat, oats and many others, clearly making it a healthy bread recipe.
